The fish that inhabit the waters of Lake Viverone are the protagonists of our wine labels: they have always been part of our lives because we are people of the lake, with a passion for the vineyard and life in the open air.
The "Persico Sole" fish for Spumante, the "Luccio" fish for Canavese Barbera and the "Persico Reale" fish for Erbaluce di Caluso; the names of the wines represent the depth in which they live.
The fish illustrations were hand-made in watercolour.

Learn more about our logo symbol
The Ivrea morainic amphitheatre is one of the richest areas in Piedmont in terms of aquatic environments, Lake Viverone is the largest and several species of dragonflies, a symbol of biodiversity, fly over its waters.
Dragonflies can be subdivided into Zygoptera (or Damselflies) and Anisoptera (or Dragons). Damselflies are smaller and more delicate than Dragons and the shape of the front and hind wings is the same. The eyes are placed at both ends of the head, are transverse in shape and never touch each other.
Dragons are normally larger and more robust. Their hind wings are wider than their forewings, and their globular head appears to consist entirely of two large, paired eyes.
We have chosen the blue-eyed dragon as the symbol of our winery. If you are lucky, you can see it flying over the waters of the lake, or hear it coming with its unmistakable hum.
